TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MY JIO FUN ZONE APP Quiz
1.1 This application known as “Fun
Zone” (“Application”) is an infotainment and gaming application, provided by
Jio Platforms Limited (“Company”, “we” or “us”), located at Office-101,
Saffron, Near Centre Point, Panchwati 5 Rasta, Ambawadi Ahmedabad, Gujarat
380006 IN.
1.2 The Application can be accessed
through JioEngage on MyJio application (“Platform”) on your smart phone device
powered by Android or iOS; (“Device”) starting 20th June, 2020.
1.3 The Application provides to its
users, the following services: (i) infotainment content; (ii) trivia quiz;
(iii) polls and votes; and (iv) daily challenges; based on the theme of the day
as more specifically described under Annexure A; (v) skill based games and
engagements; and (vi) any other service as may be provided by the Company from
time to time (collectively known as “Services”).
1.4 Your (“you”, “your” or “user”)
use of the Application is subject to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
1.5 Your use of the Application on
the Device requires that you agree to these Terms and the privacy policy
available at https://www.jio.com/en-in/myjio-privacy-policy. By downloading the
Application and by registering or signing up to the Application, or otherwise
having access to, receiving, and/or using the Application, you acknowledge to
have read, understood and you consent to be governed and bound by these Terms
and the privacy policy of the Application. If you do not understand the Terms
or the privacy policy of the Application, or do not accept any part of them,
then you should not use the Application.
1.6 The Terms are an electronic
record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended /
re-enacted) (“IT Act") and rules thereunder, and is published in
accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the of the Information
Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, which mandates for
publishing of rules and regulations, privacy policy and terms of use for access
or usage of Application. This electronic record is generated by a computer
system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
2. PRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL
INFORMATION:
2.1. Please refer to the privacy policy available at https://www.jio.com/en-in/myjio-privacy-policy.
HOW TO PLAY MY JIO FUN ZON QUIZ, REGISTRATION AND ACCESS TO THE APPLICATION:
3.1. Download MyJio from the iOS App store and/or Play store. Please note, downloading the Platform is free of cost, however data charges may apply. For further details please contact your telecom operator.
3.2. Register on the Platform with a
valid mobile number provided by a telecommunication service provider in India
(for Non-Jio subscriber- input mobile number and OTP sent on the number
provided). Please note that Non-Jio subscribers will not be allowed to proceed
without confirmation of their mobile number. Please note that we will be able
to get in touch with you, if needed, only if the mobile number you have input
is registered with the service provider in India.
3.3. Click on “Fun Zone” icon
available in the footer on “JioEngage” homepage under “JioEngage” Tab of the
Platform.
3.4. Provide confirmation with
regards to the name, age, gender, city, citizenship and acceptance of terms and
conditions.
3.5. In the event the User uses a SIM
card not registered in their name for registration, the Company will not be
responsible to track such User.
3.6. In the event it is not possible to
determine with certainty the User who registered from a particular mobile
number, that entry would be disqualified. User(s) are requested to use phone
numbers which are unique to them.
3.7. Taking part in the registration
process shall be deemed to be acceptance by the User to receive promotional
messages from the Company or any third party so authorized by the Company.
3.8. The procedures for registration
on the Platform and use of Application are subject to the Terms and Conditions
stated herein. Non-conformance by any User(s) to the Terms and Conditions will
disqualify such User from using Services or Winnings, immediately, as the case
may be.
3.9. You are entirely responsible for
any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the
Company of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.
5.1 “MY Jio App Fun zone Quiz Answers Today 08 September 2020 win prize everyday” Services will be available from 10 AM to 9 PM every day
or at such other time period as may be determined by the Company from time to
time.
5.2 Where the Application or the
ability of a User to use the Services is affected by any other network /
technical / phone issues, the User will be permitted to re-use the Application.
5.3 The Company will not entertain
any claims / questions / queries with respect to the Services or Application.
5.4 The cellular number from which
the registration is received will be used to identify the User as a unique
identification number. We urge Users to use the same cellular number used for
the registration where they would be clearly identified as the User of the
Application.
5.5 Any entry for use of the
Application is not transferrable.
5.6 The Company may, at its
discretion, contact the User(s), if required, for any clarifications needed for
the information provided and User will provide the requisite information.
5.7 The Company has the right at any
time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility from User. The Company
may, at its discretion, contact the User(s), if required, for any
clarifications needed for the information provided by the User and User will
provide the requisite information.
5.8 The failure to provide proof or
affidavit of eligibility, including the valid identity proof/ proof of name,
address and correct date of birth within the time as stipulated in the Terms
and Conditions or upon request by the Company may result in disqualification.
The Company reserves the right to disqualify any User(s) from using the
Application at its sole discretion, should the User(s) at any stage supply
untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
5.9 All personal details and
information requested by and supplied to the Company by each User must be
truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
6. WINNERS AND PRIZES
6.1 The Company may, at its
discretion, decide to choose a user as a winner, as the company deems fit basis
the scores on select Services, including but not limited to (i) daily
challenges; (ii) polls and votes (iii) trivia quiz; or (iv) skill based games
and engagements and/or (v) any other Services as may be decided by the company
from time to time (collectively referred as “Engagements”) with the help of a
randomizing software developed specially for choosing winners (“Winner”).
6.2 The randomizing software will use
an appropriate method of choosing the Winner(s), at the discretion of the
Company. In the event of a software failure, or for any other reason, the
Company may adopt any other methodology or criteria at its sole discretion to
select from amongst the users, depending upon requirement and availability.
6.3 A Winner shall be entitled to
prizes as referred in Annexure B (“Prizes”).
6.4 The Company may decide to choose
any number of Winner(s) at any given point of time and Prize(s) so won shall be
announced by the Company at its sole discretion.
6.5 The
Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Company reserves a right to add or
modify the number of Prize(s) or withdraw the Prize(s) distributed as a part of
the Contest.
6.6 The Company reserves the right,
at its discretion, to institute one or more Prize(s) and the terms and
conditions attendant thereto. Every Engagement(s) may not have Prize(s).
6.7 The Company’s decision on the
validity of any answer submitted by the User while participating in the
Engagements is final and binding on all User(s).
6.8 Results maintained by the Company
or any official score keeper as appointed by the Company from time to time will
be considered as final.
6.9 The Company will rely upon only
such contact information as may be provided by the user at the time of
registration on the Application to contact him/her.
6.10 Where the Winner(s) cannot be
contacted telephonically; or (ii) after being so contacted (maximum of 3
(three) attempts), the Winner(s) does not claim the Prize with sufficient proof
of identification as such Winner(s), the Prize for such Winner(s) stands
forfeited. No further claims by the original winner who could not be contacted
or does not claim the Prize, will be entertained and the Company will not be
responsible or liable in any way whatsoever to such persons.
6.11 Notwithstanding the foregoing,
the Company reserves the rights to determine and/or announce the timelines and
the methodology of determining winners from time to time. The Company reserves
the right to offer or withdraw any of the Prize(s) as provided herein-under, at
any point of time, including after they have been announced.
6.12 The Prize(s) details will be
available to the user in the ‘Winnings’ section of JioEngage Homepage on MyJio
application. Details such as gratification partner / sponsor name and details
of how to redeem the Prize may be made available in ‘Winnings’ section.
Wherever applicable, on selecting the coupons in the ‘Winnings’ section, the
user will be redirected to MyJio for redemption of the coupon.
6.13 The delivery of any Prize(s),
including the terms and conditions applicable thereto, shall be determined by
the relevant sponsor thereof. Neither the Company nor the sponsor will be
responsible should the Winner(s) refuse to accept and/or be unavailable or
incapacitated in any manner whatsoever to accept the Prize(s) as made
available.
6.14 The Company will have no
liability to a User who is unable to participate in the Engagements for
whatever reason and the Company shall be entitled to disqualify the User at any
time, at the discretion of the Company.
6.15 If at any point it is determined
by the Company that any person has tampered with MyJio, the Engagements, or any
data / servers / database / etc. related to the Engagements, the Company
reserves the right at its discretion to revoke or cancel points or Winnings of
any such User and / or initiate litigation as deemed fit and necessary by the
Company.
6.16 Any and all taxes and/or levies
applicable on the Prize(s) won by the Winner(s) under the laws of India shall
be borne by the Winner(s) and/or relevant sponsors in relation to the relevant
Prize(s). The Prize(s) to the Winner(s) shall be subject to deduction of all
applicable taxes and levies and subject to the relevant Winner(s) providing the
relevant documents as may be prescribed by the Company and/or relevant sponsor
and subject to the Winner’s adherence to the applicable conditions, including
special conditions, for the purposes of availing the Prize(s).
6.17 Where any Prize(s) involves a
trip to any destination, the travel dates confirmed by the Company will be
final and no changes to the same will be accepted. If the Winner or the
companion is not available for the confirmed dates, then the Winner will be
disqualified and the Prize(s) will be forfeited. The Winner will be required to
send attested copies of a valid passport for the User and his/ her companion,
PAN card of the User and any other documents that will be required to arrange
for the User’s and companions’ visa within the stipulated time.
6.18 The Winner agrees that the
delivery of his/her relevant Prize(s) may be delayed as a result of a delay in
submission of documents and/ or any force majeure events which are not within
the control of the Company.
6.19 The Winner hereby agrees that
he/ she shall not hold the Company responsible for any delays and/ or disputes
and/or claims arising out of any Prize(s) that such Winner may be entitled to,
and shall indemnify the Company against any and all such claims.
6.20 The Winner hereby agree that any
in case of any disputes/ claims arising out of any Prize(s), the same shall be
addressed directly to the relevant sponsor of such Prize(s) and the Company
shall not be held responsible for the same.
6.21 The Company may refuse to pay
Wnnings or reclaim all sums paid to Winners in the event of any fraud,
dishonesty or non-entitlement on the part of any of such Winner(s) to
participate in the Engagements under the Terms and Conditions.
